EMI Shielding / Absorbing Material

Daewoo Chem's EMI shielding and absorbing materials are developed to address electromagnetic interference (EMI) in communication, automotive, aerospace, and defense environments. Verified shielding and absorption performance has been achieved across wide bands including X-Band and Ku-Band, with a reflection + absorption composite structure.

X-Band SE Verification Results

In S-Parameter based tests of our X-Band (8~13 GHz) reflection + absorption material, one side achieved stable shielding of 99.96%, while the opposite side achieved absorption rates of 85~99.4%.

This indicates that the material provides superior interference suppression performance in real-world environments compared to simple metal shielding materials.

Ku-Band Absorber Performance

Achieved RL -27 dB with 99.8% absorption at 17.7 GHz; an additional high-performance sample reached RL -40.5 dB with 99.991% absorption at 11.5 GHz.
